My husband and I just watched Jean Cocteau’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and it reminded me of an animated version I saw on TV (probably channel 11 in NYC, at least that’s my memory) in the late 50s or early 60s that, though dubbed in English, seemed to have been made in Russia — and this is it, just as I remembered it. What a fabulous world we live in.
