Here’s my Frankenstein shooter game.  It’s fast and quite difficult.  But I might as well give you the hints you need to get a high score.

Ok, you need to shoot down the bats and the Molotov cocktails.  The villagers are trying to burn you out.  It’s hard to hit these so get good at this skill first.

Then you need a brain to fall into that flat pan with the green fluid in it.  Wait for a villager to climb the ladder.  Then shoot him in the head when he is more or less straight up and down.  Get him before he throws his torch!

Also, you must make sure the pan is right in the middle to catch the falling brain.  You can position the pan by shooting at it to nudge right or left.

When you have a brain, you need to wait for the tall electrode on the left to fill up with power.  Each time lighting appears in the sky, the electrode fills up a little bit more. When the white glow connects top and bottom, shoot the middle lever on the control panel.  This will power the two orbs above the monster.  When you shoot one of those, the monster will get zapped.  You will see him start moving parts of his body as he gains life energy.  You need to do this powering up and zapping routine three times to bring the monster to life.

The whole time you are doing this of course you will need to keep shooting bats and bottles!

Defend the house against the vampires coming in through the window!  Use your crossbow and silver-tipped arrows to destroy the undead vermin before they can hypnotize you with their mind control powers.

Hints: Shoot the bats and flying mist for points.  For more points, wait for the bats and mist to turn into the vampire.  Then shoot him in the chest.  But you only have a second to get him before he stuns you with his mind control.

Reload your crossbow by pressing the spacebar.

Now go kill some vampires!

Here’s a re-post of an art game I programmed. It just makes an animated image using math and provides you with a simple drawing program that offers markers, spray paints, and an eraser. The point is for you to draw something on top of my atomic galaxy artwork and make something totally original. There’s a button for you to upload your image to the Candlelight Stories server if you want. I have received hundreds of images from artists all over the world. Below are some of my favorites. This looks pretty good. There’s a new free browser game called ‘Star Trek – Infinite Space‘ coming this summer. You of course get to command either a Star Fleet or a Klingon ship. The explosions look impressive, as do the starships in this little preview.

My latest artwork is an image that is never quite the same twice. I worked hard on it. Framed it. Hung it in a gallery. Now you come along with your paints and markers and mess it all up. I’ve turned the original Tomb of the Mummy puzzle game into a Facebook app.  So if you spend most of your time over there you can give it a try.

It’s really pretty difficult and has resulting in tons of nasty emails for me.  One guy worked on the puzzle for three weeks and left it on his monitor when his girlfriend came over.  She apparently sat down and solved it in thirty seconds.  The guy was furious and really let me know about it!
