  1. Why is the main character named 'Snow White?'
    (The good Queen sat at a window and thought the snow, black ebony window, and red drop of blood were beautiful. Her daughter reminded her of these things, so she named her 'Snow White.')
  2. Why does Snow White's step mother get so jealous?
    (She hears the mirror say that Snow White is more beautiful than she is.)
  3. How old is Snow White when her stepmother summons the huntsman and tells him to kill her?
    (She is eighteen years old.)
  4. Why does the huntsman agree to kill Snow White?
    (He is afraid of the Queen and does not want to die.)
  5. How does the huntsman feel when he is about to kill Snow White?
    (He is very sad and scared. He has a heavy heart.)
  6. How does the huntsman fool the Queen into thinking Snow White is dead?
    (He takes her the heart of a pig and makes her think it is Snow White's heart.)

    (Her song tells us that she is confused and does not know why her stepmother wants to kill her. It also tells us that she is scared, but that she is trying not to be. It tells us that she hopes things will work out for her but that she knows it is about to rain.)
