So I'm sittin' there with this novel all ready to go to New York and suffer through the 18 month process, my agent is "excited" (I think that translates to "knows several desks where the novel will happily sit waiting for an intern's interest at a massive publishing company), and then comes scribd as though: "Okay, dude, put up or shut up." What could I do? www.TheGodPatent.com it's doing very well on that playing field and some publishers are starting to come to me. As a veteran of waiting for emails from my agent listing the houses who have rejected my work, I must admit to being sort of blown away. Thanks for reprinting my article.
